Hi, my name is Kathleen. I am born and raised in NV. I started doing massage on my mom when I was a little girl. I loved being able to help my mom feel better massaging her neck and shoulders after her hard days at work. Now as an adult I feel very satisfied in being part of other people & horses healing out of pain into health, peace and comfort within their body by releasing shoulder, neck, hip pain and other discomforts stored within their body. I started doing massage over 21 years ago. I love " massage " because it gets the pain out of your body which also helps relax your mind. By allowing you a moment in time, to be centered by having a break from all the discomforts life can send us. During the years of working on different people and receiving massage myself I have incorporated, what I feel to be a more " complete " system using several different modalities to release and help the body move back into it balanced alignment. Keeping in mind however that the longer you have been sore and out of balance it may take a few sessions for your body to be able to hold its correct balance. TYPES OF MASSAGE There are a variety of different styles, types and techniques of massage utilized by massage therapists. I've provided a description of some of the more popular and well known types of massage that " I " use in your massage. "Okazaki massage," is a "deep tissue massage" done to your level of pressure comfort. It also allows the Meridians (energy pathways, within the body, from which acupressure points sit in), to be cleared. How "Okazaki massage," differs from other "deep tissue massage," is that it breaks down any blood clots that may be present, breaking the blood clots down & away from the heart before pushing the blood back to the heart. A combination of the following modalities I am trained in and use during your massage are the following; Reiki, Seichim, and Energy healing naturally flow through for your session which facilitates your highest healing in mental & emotional un - ease to balance. Trigger point therapy is done along with the massage as well, which helps to release those stubborn knots. Cranial sacral is also performed for the spine, head and neck area. Through out your massage you also receive pressure point work & qi gong.
